The John P. Hussar Insurance Agency established roots in the Southern Tier of NY in 1993 as a Nationwide Insurance Agency.

In 1999, our community needed a different kind of insurance agency to meet their unique needs, so we decided to become an independent agency. Being independent allows us to meet the specific needs of our clients throughout NY and PA. Our customers are all over the Southern Tier, including Binghamton, Endicott, Vestal, and Johnson City, and the surrounding areas. We’ve also grown to have clients in Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester, Philadelphia, Scranton, and more.

Our final transition occurred in January of 2010 when we became the Hussar Insurance Agency, Inc. This final transition allowed us to further fine tune our relationship with insurance carriers around the country and better advocate for our clients.

Since our early days, we have helped our community rebuild after two devastating floods, comforted countless people on their worst days, and provided entrepreneurs with comprehensive malpractice and liability packages.
